Properly citing our references is the most important thing that we need to do because this way we are not taking credit for someone's work that we gather the information from. Not only is it illegal, but it is immoral as well. If someone used my work and did not give me the proper credit I would take it up with the boss or my teacher depending on where it has taken place. The internet can blur what is legally owned because there are ways of getting around many websites to put something on that can be plagiarized.
